Welcome to the official KeyWestTed Logo Design Challenge! I'm so excited to invite all creatives—local or far away—to help design a new logo that captures the Key West vibe and the spirit of KWT.

Before submitting your masterpiece, please read the rules below:

📌 WHO CAN ENTER?

Everyone! Whether you’re a local artist, visiting fan of Key West, or design enthusiast from across the globe—this contest is open to all.

🖌️ SUBMISSION DEADLINE

All logo submissions must be received by 11:59 PM EST on July 31, 2025.

📬 HOW TO ENTER

1. Submit your logo design as a high-resolution image (PNG, JPEG, or PDF preferred).

2. Include your full name and contact info in the email.

3. No more than two entries per person, please!

🏆 PRIZE FOR FIRST PLACE

The winning designer will get their choice of one of the following:

• 🍽️ Dinner with KeyWestTed (plus your significant other) at a local Key West restaurant, if you're in town.

• 💳 A $100 gift card to a local Key West business of your choice.

• 🎁 Out of town? We’ll mail you a Key West-themed gift basket with some of my favorite island finds—valued at $100+ (not including shipping).

🥈 PRIZE FOR SECOND PLACE

The Runner-up designer will get the following:

• Key West-themed gift basket with some of my favorite island finds.

⚖️ COPYRIGHT & OWNERSHIP

By submitting a logo to the contest, you agree to transfer all ownership, usage, and copyright of the submitted design to KeyWestTed™ upon entry. That means:

• KeyWestTed™ has full rights to use, alter, reproduce, sell, and distribute the logo in any format (print, digital, merchandise, etc.).

• No royalties, residuals, or future payments will be made to the designer.

• Submissions become the exclusive property of KeyWestTed™, regardless of whether the design is selected as the winner.

✅ OTHER RULES & DISCLAIMERS

ELIGIBILITY:

• Must be 18 years or older to enter (unless you have your parents written permission and agree to the rules of regulations of this contest) 

• Open internationally, but prize delivery (gift card or basket) is limited to U.S. addresses.

• No purchase necessary to participate or win

SELECTION PROCESS:

• Winner will be selected by KeyWestTed based on:

  • Creativity

  • Relevance to the brand

  • Versatility of the design

• All decisions are final

• The winner will be announced the week of August 1st, 2025

• If the winner does not claim the prize within 5 calendar days, a runner-up may be chosen

PRIZE CONDITIONS:

• Gift card and dinner options are non-transferable

• KeyWestTed is not responsible for lost or damaged deliveries

RIGHT TO CANCEL OR MODIFY

• KeyWestTed reserves the right to cancel, extend, or change the contest for any reason, including technical issues or low participation

PUBLICITY:

• By entering, you agree to allow KeyWestTed to use your name, image, and submission for promotional purposes, both online and offline

LIABILITY:

• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless KeyWestTed from any and all liability, injury, loss, or damage caused by participation or use of the prize

GOVERNING LAW:

• Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA

• By entering, you confirm the design is your original work and does not infringe on any trademarks or copyrights.

• Offensive, plagiarized, or AI-generated artwork will be disqualified.

• Contest is not affiliated with or endorsed by Instagram, Meta, or any third parties.
